Sheldon Adelson, the founder and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corp., is firing back against charges that he personally approved prostitutes hanging around at company properties in Macau.

In court documents filed in Las Vegas last week, Adelson denied the charge made in a lawsuit filed by former employee Steve Jacobs. Adelson called the charges a “new low,” and asked the court to give no weight to the allegations.

“Plaintiff’s reckless and irrelevant allegation that Mr. Adelson endorsed a ‘prostitution strategy’ is false,” said the documents.
