Casinoleaks-Macau.com, the website sponsored by a Las Vegas union that had promised to release information on organized crime in Macau’s gaming industry, has shut down, according to the Macau Daily Times.
Efforts to contact the operators of the website to learn the reasons for the termination of the website failed, the newspaper said.
“Casinoleaks-Macau is shutting down. Thank you for your interest.” was the response the newspaper received.
Beginning last February, the website project, led by Jeff Fiedler, identified as a four-term member of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, featured some essays and profiles of major VIP room and junket operators.
