Maryland Live! Casino, the property developed in Hanover, Md., by the Cordish Companies, last week celebrated the installation of an additional 1,000 slot machines at the property located in the Anne Arundel mall.
This brings the total number of gambling devices to 4,750 machines.
Maryland law currently allows five slots facilities. They are in Hanover, Berlin and Perryville. Two others are expected to open in Baltimore and at the Rocky Gap Lodge and Resort in the western pat of the state.
A November referendum asks the voters to permit the slots facilities to add table games, making them full-fledged casinos. The vote also could locate another casino in Prince George’s County.
