Female servers at Atlantic City Golden Nugget file bias lawsuit

Seven female servers at Tilman Fertitta’s Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City have filed a bias lawsuit claiming they were denied lucrative shifts because of their physical appearances.

The servers claimed they were denied jobs in the so-called “party pits” because they weren’t sexy appearing. They claim they were replaced by new female hires between the ages of 19 and 26 with dress sizes of zero to four.

Golden Nugget’s management called the suit “meritless.”

This is the third casino to face bias charges. Previously, charges were brought against the Resorts Casino Hotel and the Borgata.
