The magazine “Inside Asian Gaming” released its top 50 Asian executives and without explanation the name of Pansy Ho was unlisted.
Ho, daughter of gaming mogul Stanley Ho and partner with MGM Resorts International (MGM) in the MGM Macau resort, was listed in the No. 10 spot last year.
Still topping the list was Galaxy Entertainment Group’s Francis Lui. He was followed by Sheldon Adelson of Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS), and Lim Kok Thay of Malaysia’ Genting.
Pansy’s brother Lawrence Ho, co-chairman of Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (MPEL), and Steve Wynn of Wynn Resorts Ltd. (WYNN) were prominently mentioned, as was Ambrose So, who heads the company founded by Stanley Ho.
Also still prominent was Kazuo Okada, Wynn’s former partner and builder of a casino in Manila.
For the first time, former Adelson executive William Weidner made the list. He is chairman and CEO of Global Gaming Asset Management, a company that plans to build a $2 billion casino on the island of Matsu.
