Personnel move news from BYD, CZR, CHDN, MGM and IGT

Tom Balance, who has been serving as a senior vice president at the Borgata Hotel Casino &Spa in Atlantic City, has been named president. He will begin his new position in December when current president, Bob Boughner, returns to corporate Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD) where he served for a number of years.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation (CZR) announced the appointment of Hong Kong native Lily Ng as president of Caesars Global Living Asia. Also, the company revealed that Jinlong Wang submitted his resignation from the board of directors on Oct. 9.

As it expands its participation in online gaming operations through Twinspires.com, Bluff Media and Luckity.com, Churchill Downs Inc. (CHDN) announced it has named James E. “Ted” Gay president of Churchill Downs Interactive.

Industry veteran Lorenzo Creighton has rejoined MGM Resorts International (MGM) with the responsibility of developing markets in the eastern U.S.

International Game Technology (IGT) has promoted Darrell Rodriguez to the position of chief creative officer. He succeeds Christopher J. Satchell, who leaves his position on Oct. 19.

Monarch Casino & Resorts Inc. (MCRI), now owners of the Riviera Black Hawk Casino in Colorado, has named three new executives for the property. They are: Dan Roy, general manager; Brandon Moore, director of marketing, and Greg Stuhr, director of slot operations.
