Caesars Entertainment Corp. (CZR) says that since the voters of Maryland have approved full-scale casinos, instead of just a slots parlor, it will mean an additional expenditure of $25 million and the addition of about 500 jobs at the Baltimore property it plans to build.
The company said that with the vote the plans for the Horseshoe-brand casino were upgraded.
The schedule calls for construction to begin in 2013 and be completed the following year.
