A weak second fiscal quarter for Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. (ISLE) resulted in the company reporting a decline in revenue and a widening loss.
The company said earnings fell to $223.2 million from last year’s $231.4 million while the loss increased to $6.7 million or $0.17 per share compared to a loss of $1.5 million or $0.04 per share.
President and CEO Virginia McDowell said the company was unable to overcome weakness caused by market conditions, construction disruptions and the rebranding of one of its properties.
