PokerTek Inc. (PTEK) says it has debuted an electronic table game product offering EZ Baccarat on the ProCore platform.

Nevada Gold & Casinos Inc. (UWN) will report its second quarter financial results on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 8 a.m. PDT.

Backers of a referendum to permit a “temporary” casino at the Meadowlands in New Jersey during the 2014 Super Bowl now say they may expand that project to make the casino permanent.

A federal judge has restored the right of the Ho-Chunk Tribe in Wisconsin to offer electronic poker at its Madison casino. The judge said an arbitrator had exceeded his power in banning the game.

Nevada gaming revenues increased 1.8 percent to $978.8 million in October, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Strip revenues increased 3.6 percent to $580.7 million. 

Heavily impacted by Hurricane Sandy, Atlantic City’s gaming revenues in November fell 28 percent to $176.6 million from last year’s $244.9 million. The casinos were closed from Oct.28 to Nov. 2.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says gambling revenues rose to $192.5 million during the month of November. The amount benefited from the opening of an 11th casino, the Valley /Forge Casino Resort.

Size matters in Maryland where its three casinos pulled in $43.1 million in November. Leading the group was the Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County that operates some 4,500 slot machines.

Online games company Zynga has petitioned Nevada gaming regulators to be approved as “suitable” for licensing.

The Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas, plans to being moved out of its temporary casino into a permanent facility this week. The entire permanent casino will open on Dec. 21. The facility will soon be acquired by Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD).

Averaging about $5 million in revenues per month for the past six months, Oxford Casino in Maine has no plans to expand its operations, according to G.M. Jack Sours. 

Canterbury Park Holding Corporation (CPHC) will pay a special cash dividend of $0.25 per share on Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 17.

Mardis Gras Casino and Resort in Nitro, West Virginia, plans to open a buffet that will create some 60 jobs. The buffet is scheduled to open in early 2013.
