Analysts are reporting that the gaming business is booming in Macau and investors are responding by boosting the share prices of casinos operating in that Chinese enclave.
Also encouraging investors were recent reports from Beijing that the new administration is planning to increase its support for businesses.
For the first 10 days of December, according to one analyst, gross gaming revenue in Macau increased by 27 percent.
