Felix Rappaport, who has spent nearly his entire gaming career as an executive with MGM Resorts International (MGM), has announced he will leave the company at the end of the month.
This will be the second major company executive to announce his resignation. Two weeks ago, Aria President Bill McBeath submitted his resignation.
During his MGM career, which began in the early 1990’s, Rappaport has led the operations of The Mirage, MGM Grand, Treasure Island, Luxor, Excalibur and New York-New York. He also spent two years running Boulder Station for Station Casinos Inc.
Rappaport was a hotel executive in Philadelphia before re-locating to Las Vegas. His position will be covered temporarily by COO Corey Sanders.
