Despite the absence of the late gaming entrepreneur Dennis Gomes, the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City continues to move forward in an effort to revitalize the property.
Recently, the company announced plans to spend $60 million in the first half of 2013 in providing renovations and expansion in order to make the casino more competitive with its neighbors.
One of the projects is the $35 million Jimmy Buffett-themed Margaritaville entertainment complex.
Also last week it was announced the property had completed negotiations with Local 54, UNITE-HERE union to represent its 600 workers.
