Minnesota legislators, frustrated by the slow growth of gaming revenues, say they are now looking for other means to cover the state’s share of the funding for the Minnesota Vikings new football stadium.
The state is stuck with a bill for $348 million of the stadium’s $975 million cost.
So far, only 140 bars have installed the electronic gambling games that have been averaging about $500 in revenue per day. It was expected there would be at least 2,500 outlets for the electronic pull-tabs.
