With a monopoly while sitting in North Carolina’s Appalachian Mountains, the Harrah’s Cherokee Indians have announced the completing of a five-year, $650 million expansion of its casino and hotel complex.

Also, the additional games came about with a new compact negotiated with the state that provides additional portions of the gaming revenue to the state.
