Australian gaming tycoon James Packer has a roving eye, not necessarily for the ladies, but definitely for gambling locations.

Not only does he have a major gaming establishment in his own country but has partnered with Lawrence Ho in the development of Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (MPEL) with its Macau and soon to be Philippine operations.

He also has sited locations in other Southeast Asian locals, including most recently, Sri Lanka.

Last week, Packer met with Sri Lankan officials to discuss hotel and entertainment investment options.
