Fertitta Interactive, a company that is majority owned by Station Casinos, advised the Nevada Gaming Commission it is ready to launch its online poker website. Just as soon as the regulators establish the necessary regulatory guidelines, that is.
The information was given to the Commission last week when Tom Breitling, chairman of Ultimate Gaming, was approved to own 14.3 percent of Fertitta Interactive.
During the hearing, Commission Chairman Pete Bernhard sought assurances that the Ultimate Gaming’s technology would be sufficiently prepared to prevent such things as money laundering and underage gaming.
Company officials said the system to be used would be completely tested and approved by technology experts.
