Galaxy Gaming Inc. of Las Vegas has reported the death of William O’Hara, who served the company as chief operating officer. He had been with the company since 2008. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of operations for Casinovations, Inc.
O’Hara came to Las Vegas in 1991 as the chief marketing executive for John Breeding, founder of Shuffle Master, Inc. Breeding, a former truck driver, had created a card shuffler that formed the basis of Shuffle Master’s foundation.
A Marine Corps veteran, O’Hara soon became noted within the gaming community for his affable personality, his ability to intrigue customers and, as he was described by a co-worker, for being “as honest a man as you’ll ever meet.”
