Tilman Fertitta’s Landry’s Inc., which has invested some $130 million in his Golden Nugget Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City, is making moves to insure his casino will be a major player when the state approves Internet gambling, an action that is expected in late November.

Fertitta has lured Thomas Winter to become Golden Nugget’s vice president of online gaming.

Winter had been head of Gibraltar-based Betclic Ltd., an Internet betting site. During the past three years, the company’s revenues jumped from a modest $20 million to $200 million, Landry’s said.
