Whether gaming industry personnel attend the ongoing Global Gaming Expo (G2E) at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas this week or not, there will still be an opportunity to see and hear industry leaders describing their views of the industry’s current status and future.

For the first time, the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions, co-sponsors of the gathering, will offer an “Inside the Industry” program Video Series that will feature interviews with the industry’s “most influential voices.”

The new program, described as “Insights from Today’s Movers and Shakers,” is being sponsored by Bally Technologies Inc. and will feature interviews with top executives in the gaming industry. They will be filmed throughout this week’s G2E and will be distributed via the G2E website and other social media platforms following the 2013 event.

“During the past 13 years, G2E has come to be known as the world’s largest and most comprehensive platform for access to the latest products, services and educational opportunities in the gaming entertainment industry,” said Reed’s Courtney Muller.

“And our educational efforts don’t stop at our conference. ‘Inside the Industry’ is yet another example of our commitment to expanding our offerings to provide gaming professionals with year-round opportunities to gain critical perspectives on the topics impacting the industry today.”

Among the executives to be interviewed are:

Nehme E. Abouzeid, Wynn Las Vegas; Jim Allen, Hard Rock International; Mark Birtha, Station Casinos Inc.; George Galinsky, Mohegan Sun; Jason Gastwirth, Caesars Entertainment; C.J. Graham, Agua Caliente Casino Resort; Dan Little, National Indian Gaming Commission; Gary Loveman, Caesars Entertainment; Virginia McDowell, Isle of Capri Casinos; Debi Nutton, Wynn Resorts; John Restrepo, RCG Economics, Dan Savage, Bally Technologies, Michael Shindler, Hard Rock International; Derek Stevens, The D Las Vegas, and Timothy Wilmott, Penn National Gaming.
