While visiting Mindanao, the Philippines, to be with champion boxer Manny Pacquiao and his manager, Bob Arum, Edward Tracy, Sands China CEO, credited the company’s diversification with the huge success the company reported recently.
The diversification strategy of offering entertainment events and sports areas beyond gaming has been credited with helping parent company, Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) report record results. Recently LVS said that with the help of a 21 percent increase in Sands China, the company had record revenues o $3.57 billion in the most recent quarter.
Tracy pointed to “family entertainment, concerts, sports and celebrity appearances” as boosting company profits. “The results speak for themselves,” he added.
