Bally’s Atlantic City, a property owned by Caesars Entertainment Corp. (CZR), says TJM Properties of Clearwater, Florida, has agreed to purchase the 500-room Claridge Hotel Tower. No terms were disclosed.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reported tourism to Las Vegas during the month of September dipped 1.6 percent with 3.3 million visitors.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported gambling revenues increased 7.4 percent during September. The state’s casinos brought in $959 million during the month.

As part of its new gambling regulations, the New Hampshire Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority reportedly is considering beefing up and expanding the state’s Lottery Commission to serve as an umbrella for all gambling.

Gambling in Arizona is holding steady, according to the Arizona Department of Gaming. It reported tribe payments to the state were about $23.9 million for the quarter that ended on Sept. 30. They said the total is within a few thousand dollars of matching the same quarter last year.

Because of leasing issues, the management of Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas said the casino was closed. It was not known whether the closure would be temporary or permanent.
