Deadwood gaming revenues continue to fall

South Dakota gaming regulators are concerned that revenues in Deadwood continue to decline. In January, Deadwood’s gaming revenue fell 3.8 percent to about $7.5 million.

To boost casino revenues, some lawmakers have introduced a bill for a constitutional amendment that would permit Deadwood casinos to expand their gaming menus by introducing roulette, keno and craps.

Current law permits only slot machines, poker and blackjack.
