The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. estimates gaming revenue in the Philippines could reach $4.5 billion this year.

In a story filed by the Manila Standard Today newspaper, the growth in gambling has been fueled by casino resorts in the Entertainment City complex in Manila.

Based on current growth estimates, said Pagcor CEO Christino Naguiat, revenues could reach $7 billion within the next five years.

Currently, gambling revenues in Singapore and the State of Nevada have fallen short of the $7 billion figure.
