Hollywood Casino starts Fusion Hybrid e-table game

Mar 11, 2014 3:01 AM

Blazing the way for a new feature on the casino gaming floor, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in Charlestown, West Virginia, has introduced Fusion Hybrid, a new e-table game that fuses live table gaming with electronic wagering, plus the option for concurrent game-play.

This will be the first installation of its kind in a North American casino, according to the property’s executives.

Popular in casinos throughout Asia and Australia, Fusion Hybrid features a live dealer and electronic betting interface, with a multi-game addition. This allows for up to four games to be played at once.

While the feature is in the introductory stage, the e-table games will offer any combination of live baccarat and live roulette.

“We are always on the lookout for the newest trends and gaming technology to bring only the very best to our guests,” commented Bill Florence, vice president of gaming at Hollywood Casino.

“We pride ourselves on offering a thrilling, Vegas-style experience and these new additions to our gaming lineup do just that,” he added.

The Fusion Hybrid interactive interface features a wide-screen and easy-to-navigate tabs displaying table status, countdown, wagers and results plus the ability to quickly switch among games.

This, Florence explains, offers an action-packed experience that allows players to control their own pace. For some, it’s a natural bridge between fully electronic table games and live table games, he said.
