It was a dismal fourth quarter for Asian casino operator Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (MPEL), which said its earnings during the period that ended on Dec. 31, 2014, fell by 49 percent.
Revenues of $278.6 million were lower by 29 percent, a problem reported by most Macau casino operators.
However, the company now operates a casino in the Philippines that promises to make up some of the decline experienced in Macau.
