Business has increased in Atlantic City

Business has increased in Atlantic City Now that Atlantic City has been reduced from 12 operating casinos to 8, business has increased.

The Casino Control Commission reported casino revenue at $197.5 million for January, an increase of 18.8 percent over January, 2014.

Leading the group was the Borgata with $60.9 million, or 16.6 percent higher than last year. It was followed by Harrah’s $30.7 million, up 20.1 percent; Caesars, $23.2 million, up 29.8 percent, and Tropicana, $22.5 million, up 28.6 percent.

The only casino showing a negative for the month was Trump Taj Mahal with $12.1 million, down 21.2 percent.
