Patti Hart, president and CEO of International Game Technology (IGT) has announced the appointment of Robert Melendres as chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

Melendres succeeds David Johnson, who recently resigned, as the company’s top legal officer.

Replacing Melendres will be Craig Billings, who now becomes chief of staff and head of corporate development, according to Hart.

Melendres has been with the company since June while Billings joined IGT in March of this year.
