Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos enjoyed a productive February as slot machine revenue totaled $200.17 million, a 9.26 percent increase over the $183.20 million won during the same year earlier period.
All casinos posted increases with the Parx Casino leading the way with a $33.08 million win, 11.65 percent better February a year ago. Slots at Sands Bethlehem won $25.09 million, 13.72 percent better than last year’s February win of $22.06 million. The Rivers Casino finished February with $23.01 million in slot revenue, a 2.45 percent increase over last year’s $22.47 million.
The average number of slot machines throughout the state during February was 26,415, about 60 more than the 2014 February total. Even without the extra day because of Leap Year, this year’s February win would have been a 6.33 percent improvement.
