McCarran Airport officials in Las Vegas say 3.4 million people traveled through the facility in February, a nearly 9 percent increase compared to a year ago.
Statistics released Thursday show traffic was up 8.9 percent last month compared to February 2015.
The number of passengers so far this year is also up 8.1 compared to the first two months of last year.
There was also a 10.2 percent increase in the number of travelers on domestic flights but a slight decrease of 2.8 percent among passengers on international flights.
