Initial reports show upstate New York’s three new casino properties have generated $39.6 million in gross gaming revenue in the period between December 4, 2016 and February 26, 2017.

Financial data provided by the state Gaming Commission reveals weekly revenue has steadily risen since Tioga Downs Casino opened in early December. The Gaming Commission’s report shows that it has generated $16.4 million in revenue since launch. Tioga Downs was the last to be approved by regulators, but the first to open.

The del Lago Resort & Casino opened on February 1. That resort reported gross gaming revenue of $13.1 million during the first four weeks of operation.

The newest location, the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, began operations one week later, generating a total of $10.1 million in gross gaming revenue during its first three weeks of operation.
