The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe in Michigan will break ground in January on its $26.5 million renovation of its flagship casino.

Guests at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort will be able to enjoy a new sports bar and night club, along with new gaming and lounge areas. Also planned are renovations to the entertainment hall and the family-friendly game arcade. Construction will take place in seven phases and is to be completed by the fall of 2018.

In June, the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe began an expansion of the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino, a smaller facility in Standish. That project includes a 148-room hotel.
