The three-day Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturer Association’s (MGEMA) annual trade show has concluded with the event broadening its scope beyond traditional gaming activities.
The unique event conducts gaming sessions in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The gaming information source Asia Gaming Brief reports the event drew around 162 exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors.
A significant number of new exhibitors were present representing companies in robotics, video surveillance and cloud computing as well as manufacturers and developers of traditional gaming equipment.
Asia Gaming Brief notes a significantly increased conference focus on (non-gambling) mobile games and eSports.
