"Problem Gambling Awareness Month" has prompted the Las Vegas Sands Corp. to begin holding Responsible Gaming Ambassador training sessions in Las Vegas this week. The program is designed to help train more than 80 front line, essential employees to identify problem behavior and get help to compulsive gamblers.

The company, Las Vegas-based owner/operator of two major Strip properties, The Venetian and Palazzo, is additionally bolstering the initiative with educational messages and resources that are being promoted through internal communications channels, as part of its ongoing worldwide mission to empower employees to take an active approach to ensuring responsible gaming practices.

Other LVS properties in Pennsylvania and Macau will host Responsible Gaming Ambassador training programs throughout 2018.
