Las Vegas passenger traffic up about 4 percent for February

The Clark County Department of Aviation reported Wednesday that passenger traffic, attributable to both domestic and international increases, was up about 4 percent for February.

More than 3.56 million airline passengers flew through McCarran International Airport, the nation’s eighth-busiest airport, last month.

Data shows 3.24 million boarded or arrived on domestic flights in Las Vegas last month, a 3.9 percent increase from a year earlier, and international flights arriving or departing the Las Vegas-area airport carried 252,942 travelers, up 2.9 percent from a year earlier.

So far, 7.34 million passengers have flown in or out of the airport during the first two months of 2018, a 3.3 percent increase from the same period in 2017.
