The Silverton, off Blue Diamond Road near I-15, has begun a $60 million expansion, including a 150-room Hyatt Place hotel and several fast-food restaurants.
The new project will comprise what is being called Silverton Village, to be built in stages around the Silverton, two miles south of the Las Vegas Strip. This is an additional major enlargement to the resort following the now completed Berkley Las Vegas timeshare hotel.
Silverton Village is scheduled to be completed in 2019.
The property is already home to a 145,000 square foot Bass Pro Shops superstore and a popular, free-standing Cracker Barrel restaurant. Los Angeles real estate billionaire Ed Roski controls the Silverton property.
