The Monte Carlo on the Las Vegas Strip is no more.

Starting Wednesday the re-modeled casino/resort is Park MGM.

Among the changes are a new lobby, new bars and restaurants and re-worked guest rooms. The property is adjacent to the T-Mobile Arena and an outdoor “social area” in a park-like atmosphere. It also now features the Park Theater, the 5200-seat home to various concert series by Cher, Ricky Martin and other big-name performers.

Set for a fall opening is The NoMad, a hotel-within-a-hotel concept that will occupy the top four floors of the resort. When the entire project is done, MGM says every aspect of the casino/resort will be affected.
