Ohio casinos have winning January

It was a good month for Ohio's casinos as revenue was up 7.1 percent from a year ago.
According to Cleveland.com, the gain was due to racinos, where revenue climbed 7.1 percent to $78.3 million. Gambling revenue at Ohio’s four casinos fell 0.9 percent to $62.4 million
In the Cleveland market, revenue increased 1.5 percent to $45 million at the three facilities combined. Betting handle at the state's racetracks were not included in the figures supplied by the Ohio Lottery Commission.
Under Ohio regulations, the state’s seven racinos at horse tracks are limited to slots games of chance on the racino floor. The casinos are permitted to run table games and a wider variety of slots than are permitted at the racinos.
