After watching the weekend action I have a few comments about various games and things I saw.

If I were a head coach of a college team, a player that gives any gang sign would be gone, done, out!

UNLV took out several years of frustration on Idaho State and from what I have seen of the team, they will have a good future with Tony Sanchez at the helm.

Urban Meyer loves to play possum versus these softer teams, or is he?

The Colts are very overrated and Andrew Luck looks like he has really regressed. Indy is a good bet-against, especially as a chalk. The 49ers are done.

Big Ben is gone for six weeks. The Steelers QB, who got injured on Sunday, was having a great year and as a past Pittsburgh fan (Dawg fan now) that will be the nail in the coffin with Vick taking over. Sorry to my friends back in the “Ville.”

You just gotta love the job that Rex Ryan has done with the Bills. They are a great dog and will be very competitive all year barring any big injuries.

We had a very good week in the College games with the only loss the UNDER in the Penn State game; we will keep it going.

CFB Last Week: 7-1-0

CFB Season: 15-12-1

College Football – Thursday

Miami, Fla. -5 at Cincinnati: Cincy coming off huge revenge game last week at Memphis losing 53-46, but we must take them at home as a dog. Hurricanes 0-4 ATS in their last four weekday games vs. a team .500 or less. Cincy has played over the total in all four of its games. CINCY/OVER.

College Football – Friday

Memphis -12 at USF: Yes, Memphis is very good this year but this is a must-take as the Tigers have gone 0-6-1 as a weekday favorite and South Florida is home after back-to-back road games. USF.

UConn +18 at BYU: The Huskies have gone 6-0 ATS when coming off a double digit loss vs. a non-conference team off a loss. Also BYU is 0-6 ATS when coming off a double digit loss and facing a team that is .500 or less. UCONN.

College Football – Saturday

Miami, Ohio +10.5 at Kent St.: Kent fell to Miami last year 10-3 and looks to avenge that loss. Miami O has gone 0-6 as dogs vs. .500 teams looking for revenge while Kent has gone 6-0 ATS as favorites with revenge. KENT ST.

Minnesota +6 at Northwestern (NT): One of my key games this weekend. The 4-0 Wildcats look to extract revenge from last year’s 24-17 loss in Minneapolis. Also the Cats are giving up just 8.75 ppg. NORTHWESTERN / UNDER.

Louisville +5 at NC State: The Wolfpack has feasted on Troy, E. Kentucky, Old Dominion and South Florida while the Cardinals have played the likes of Auburn, Houston and Clemson. Louisville has gone 11-0 ATS on the road vs. winning teams and 8-0 ATS as a dog when getting 4 or more points. LOUISVILLE.

Miss St. +7 at Texas A&M: The undefeated Aggies look to get a stranglehold on the SEC West division in this big revenge game. The Bulldogs beat the Aggies in Starkville last year 48-31 and A&M has had this game circled plus. The Bulldogs have gone 0-4 away after winning SU as a dog in their previous game. TEXAS A&M.

Alabama +2.5 at Georgia: Two SEC titans. If the Tide loses, you can say bye bye to Nick and the playoffs. Alabama has gone 6-0 as a road dog vs. an undefeated team. Georgia has gone 0-6-1 ATS in its third straight home game. ALABAMA (Buy up to +3 and on money line).

Michigan -13 at Maryland: Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverine defense has given up a total of just 14 points in its last three games. Utah scored 62 points on the road vs. Oregon last Saturday only got 24 at home vs. Michigan. The Wolverines also look to get revenge from last year’s horrible loss in the Big House to these Terrapins 23-16. MICHIGAN/UNDER.

Pro Football

Vikings +6.5 at Broncos: Minnesota defense has played great in all three games and will put Manning in a box. Vikes have gone 11-0 ATS vs. .500 or better teams off a double digit ATS non-division win. Broncos are 0-7 ATS off a double digit SU and ATS win vs. a team off a double digit win. VIKINGS.

NFL Last Week: 0-1-0

NFL Season: 3-2-0
