This week I went to a place where Las Vegas craft beer lovers and foodies can unite.
Able Baker Brewing Company, located at 1510 S. Main Street in downtown Las Vegas, is home to some of the finest craft beers in the city. While I’m not a big beer lover, my buddy Marc, who I refer to as the Beer Snob Guy, absolutely loves Able Baker.
There are over 30 different craft beers on tap with the brewery right on site. With so many choices, I highly suggest doing one of their sampler flights so you can enjoy and experience different beers on your visit. You can check out their website for the current list.
They also list the alcohol level as they have beers with an alcohol content as low as 3 percent all the way to a 14.4 percent beer. If you are a beer lover, you will be in heaven.

But beer is not the only thing at Able Baker because if you are a foodie like I am you are going to love the Arts District Craft Kitchen located inside.
They have something for everyone, and their motto is “Not Fast Food but Good Food Fast.”
The food here is incredible, from the bar bites to the burgers and sandwiches. I highly recommend starting off with an order of the Baha Fish Tacos or try their Garbage Nachos that come with Pork Belly, Chicken, Pico De Gallo, Guacamole and their House Cheese Blend. Both of these are a great way to start your meal.
I went with the Fried Chicken Sandwich which was absolutely amazing. You can get Nashville Hot, Honey Garlic BBQ or Buffalo. I had the Honey Garlic BBQ with fries. The sandwich was huge, and the chicken breast was very crispy on the outside but moist and flavorful on the inside. Their fries are excellent as well and comes with a homemade dipping sauce.
The other sandwich you must try is the Pork Belly Banh Mi. This sandwich is a combination of flavors with the star being the Hoisin Sambal Glazed Pork Belly. Both of these sandwiches are great.
The atmosphere is very laid back as it’s a warehouse look where they can open the garage doors, giving it a great open air feel with seating inside and out. They have several board and card games where you and your friends can hang out and play games while having drinks.
I love the way downtown has changed over the last few years and this is just another one of the cool places to experience. I give the Able Baker Brewing Company and The Arts District Craft Kitchen a rating of 3.75 Forks.
