She’s “Beautiful.” She’s “Dirty.” She’ll tell you “What a Girl Wants” and she’s your “Genie In a Bottle.”

She is none other than Christina Aguilera.

At only 39 years old, she is a seasoned veteran as her career began when she was just a child. At eight, she won her first talent show. She then joined The Mickey Mouse Club at 13. After the show ended, her focus was solely on a future in music. The pop icon has landed 23 Top 40 hits on the Official Singles Chart, 17 of which peaked inside the Top 10, with four going all the way to No. 1.

This modern day self proclaimed diva brought “The Xperience” residency to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2019 and took the Vegas Strip by storm. The 90-minute thrill ride shows the singers deep-rooted, dance, pop, jazz, blues and soul influences.

As her alter ego, “Xtina” takes the stage with a troop of incredible dancers, a huge screen behind her, a full band, and more confetti than a Times Square New Years Eve party. The singer brings you into her world, interacting with the audience throughout the performance.

She hopes her show will give people the chance to take a break from their everyday lives.

“I really wanted to tap into people’s hearts and give them a moment to have a safe space, to just not have to be on for anyone, just for a moment, getting a break from life,” Xtina said. “I want my fans to take off their mask because it is something that I have personally done, and have become a much better person because of it.”

In attendance this week was celebrity magician Murray Sawchuck and his girlfriend, Crazy Girls host Dani Elizabeth.

“Xtina was amazing just for the pure sake that she was really singing, performing and selling,” Sawchuck said. “What a live performance is all about. So refreshing seeing a live singer not singing to a track. She’s pure talent.”

Elizabeth said: “I grew up on her music in grade school and loved every song and moment.”

With dates in March and then returning back in November, with meet and greets available, this is more than a show, it as an experience and a must-see.

“I want men to get turned on and women to get inspired,” Romas said of the show

The routines and dancing are all original and very unique as they appeal to men, women and couples. During costume and set changes, emcee Gabriella Versace works the crowd with risqué humor and belts out a few tunes with a powerful voice. She even brings one lucky audience member on stage for a little handcuffs, whips, and blindfold fun with the extremely playful cast of trained dancers.

Romas, who has been voted “Best Local Female Entertainer,” said, “When you leave the show, you will be and feel Sexxy.”

Go on down to the Westgate Cabaret inside the Westgate Wednesday through Saturday with meet and greets available. Whether it’s a guys’, a girls’, or a couples’ night out, Sexxy is the show to set your night on fire.

Cherry Boom Boom

At the Night Owl Showroom inside the Oyo Hotel & Casino you will find a delightful surprise among Strip shows. Created and directed by famed Pussycat Dolls original member, Lindsley Allen, Cherry Boom Boom is very different. It is dance with an attitude.

An electrifying, full production starring LA’s cream-of-the-crop dancers, specialty acts, and one bawdy host, Cherry Boom Boom features an unforgettable soundtrack, distinctive style, and iconic images. The cast redefines what the “American Woman” for the 21st Century is all about.

These are not your traditional dancers, varying in size, shape, look, and style. Miss Cherry Bomb, Sarah Johnston said, “Playing Las Vegas is a dream come true.”

The entire room is the stage and you have entered their playground making the show an immersive experience like no other, visually stimulating with dancers swinging above you and crawling beside you.

“I’ve created from my love of dance, theater, and music that moves me from the inside out, ever evolving and it is making quite the impact here in Vegas, Allen said. “We’ve done so much with what little we have and the audiences are responding in a way that’s truly rewarding, commenting on the things that I strive for: top notch, talented performers that are emotionally invested, seamless transitions, and a connection to the guests, allowing them to walk away from the show having more of a visceral experience than just a show.”

This high-impact show is teasingly titillating while deliberately delectable. Go see Las Vegas’ best kept secret. You can catch the 21-and-older Cherry Boom Boom on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for some late night fun and even meet and take a selfie with the cast after the show.
