Week 9 of the NFL season wraps up in the Big Apple as the New York Jets host the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. This should be a very entertaining game to close out an exciting week, and bettors can take advantage of all the plus-money player props, including the best Monday Night Football touchdown scorer props.
The Jets’ season started with disaster, and although they are 4-3 and well within contention of a playoff spot, it is obvious this is not a championship team. The defense is excellent, but like last season, the quarterback is dragging this team down. Meanwhile, the Chargers also continue to do what they do and just simply lose games. They are usually in every game, but somehow, they find a way to lose.
Here, we will take a look at the best Chargers vs. Jets MNF anytime touchdown scorer picks.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer Odds
Here, we have included the best available anytime touchdown scorer betting odds for Chargers vs. Jets from some of our favorite sports betting apps.
Breece Hall
Although he has been playing better lately, Zach Wilson is not a reliable quarterback. Under Wilson, the Jets only put up 18 points per game, and they rank 31st in touchdowns scored per game (1.4).
Luckily, New York has a great running back in Breece Hall, who is having a terrific year coming off his rookie season, which was cut short due to injury. His last two games were not great, but on the season, Hall has 443 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, and he leads the NFL in yards per attempt (5.7). Hall’s rookie season only lasted seven games, and through seven games this season, he is putting up pretty much the same production.
Hall also has a receiving touchdown and 27 targets, which ranks fourth on the Jets. New York’s offensive line is not great, and they have a tough challenge against the Chargers’ defensive line, but Los Angeles is inconsistent at stopping the run, and they rank 26th in rushing touchdowns allowed.
The Chargers’ secondary is among the worst in the NFL, but Wilson does not really instill much confidence in throwing the ball downfield. Look for the Jets to keep things simple, which should give Hall plenty of touches and opportunities to cash this touchdown prop.
Quentin Johnston
It is safe to say that Quentin Johnston‘s rookie year is not going according to plan. In seven games, he only has 21 targets, 12 receptions, and 114 yards receiving. However, with the Chargers’ injury situation at wide receiver, Johnston’s role expanded last week, and he put up the best game of his young career.
Los Angeles was already without Mike Williams due to a torn ACL, and now they will be down Joshua Palmer, who was put on IR, and Jalen Guyton is questionable for tonight. Last week, Johnston put up 50 yards receiving on five receptions against the Bears, and he should see even more production this week.
New York has one of the best pass defenses in the NFL, as they rank fourth in yards per pass (5.7) and sixth in pass yards per game (184.4). Even though the run defense is significantly worse, and Los Angeles has a great running back at their disposal, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore loves to throw the ball, and tonight should be no different.
Johnston was known for racking up yards after the catch at TCU, and he showed that skill last week. Expect Justin Herbert and the Chargers to keep going his way this week. Although he has had a tough time in his rookie season, he was a first-round selection for a reason. Eventually, he will find pay dirt, and this very well could be the week, given that his snap count will almost certainly increase.
Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Parlay Odds
If you are following our Monday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer picks, you can parlay them for a much bigger payout. The odds for each touchdown prop will differ depending on the sportsbook you use. However, with two plus-money player props, you should get an excellent number to bet on, no matter what.
At FanDuel, you can parlay Hall (+125) and Johnston (+340) to score a touchdown tonight, and you will be given +741 odds. This means that a $100 bettor would be up $741 if both players cash a touchdown scorer prop.
