Another week and yet another brutal TNF matchup. When the season started, this looked like a solid game on paper and could have possibly had massive playoff implications. However, both teams are out of the hunt and will play with backup quarterbacks. The Raiders turned to Aidan O’Connell a few weeks ago, and the Chargers are now without star Justin Herbert for the rest of the season.

The oddsmakers are signaling a close and low-scoring matchup, which means picking a winning touchdown scorer prop may be challenging. Luckily, we are here to help, as we have found the best TNF anytime touchdown scorer picks.

Chargers vs. Raiders Anytime TD Scorer Props

Easton Stick

Let’s have a little fun with this one. You can find some great value on Easton Stick to cash an anytime touchdown scorer prop tonight. For his career, including preseason games and a historic FCS career at North Dakota State, Stick has always been a touchdown-scoring machine.

Stick had 41 rushing touchdowns in college, including 17 in his senior season. While he does not have much regular-season NFL experience, he has played in the preseason a lot and has played relatively well. In 13 carer preseason games, Stick has five rushing touchdowns, including two this season.

It is clear that Los Angeles is very high on this kid, as he has been with the team since 2019 and has yet to play. While playing a regular season version on an NFL team is significantly different than what he is used to in the preseason, the Raiders have a very ‘meh’ defense.

Las Vegas’ defense does rank ninth in scoring, but they also are 14th in yards per play, 23rd in yards per rush, and 26th in third down conversion rate. The Raiders also allow a 62.2% touchdown conversion rate in the red zone.

While the Raiders’ defense performs much better at home, they still have trouble getting off the field. The Chargers will have to rely on Stick for this game, especially since their rushing attack is pretty much ineffective. If they can move the ball down the field, Stick’s best attribute is what he can do with his legs.

At this price, betting on Stick to cash an anytime TD scorer prop is well worth it.

Jakobi Meyers

Even though this is projected to be a rock-fight, it would not shock me if the Raiders were able to throw the ball around tonight. That may sound silly coming off a zero-burger last week against Minnesota, but the Chargers’ secondary is absolutely terrible.

They rank 27th in DVOA against the pass, 28th in yards per pass (7.1), and have allowed 14 touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Injuries certainly have not helped, and they will be even more shorthanded tonight, as top corner Deane Leonard is OUT.

Even with a horrendous Chargers’ secondary, the Raiders do not have an excellent pass attack. While O’Connell has played decently well, he does not instill much confidence in throwing the ball downfield.

Thankfully for him, he has one of the best receivers in the NFL, Davante Adams, and one of the top red zone threats, Jakobi Meyers. On the season, Myers has 12 red zone targets, six of which have gone for touchdowns.

Los Angeles is in a tailspin right now. They have lost four of their last five games and allowed nine passing touchdowns during that stretch. It may be hard moving the ball downfield for Las Vegas as the offense is not that great, especially with Josh Jacobs out. However, with how bad the Chargers’ secondary is, one would think their attention will be on Adams for most of the game.

Hopefully, that should free up Meyers to score another touchdown.

Thursday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorer Parlay Odds

If you follow our Chargers vs. Raiders Thursday Night Football anytime TD scorer picks, you can parlay them for a much bigger payout. The odds for each touchdown prop will depend on the sportsbook you use. However, with two plus-money player props, you should get an excellent number to bet on, no matter what.

At FanDuel, you can parlay Stick (+500) and Meyers (+350) to score a touchdown tonight, and you will be given +2053 odds. This means that a $100 bettor would be up $2,053 if both players score a touchdown.
