Week 4 of the NFL season kicks off with a tremendous divisional rivalry as the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions. This is the perfect game to start a wonderful week in the NFL, and bettors can take advantage of TNF with some plus-money player props, including the best Thursday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer props.
Both teams enter tonight 2-1 on the season, and with the Bears and Vikings looking horrible to start the year, this game has massive implications in the NFC North race. The Lions entered the season as the favorite to win the North, and they still are. However, the Packers have looked solid on both sides of the ball and should be in the hunt for the division title and the playoffs all season.
Our Thursday Night Football touchdown scorer bets went 1-1 last week, and we are back with two more touchdown props tonight. If you want a bet with some extra value, we recommend checking out our favorite TNF anytime touchdown scorer picks.

Here, we have included the anytime touchdown scorer betting odds for Lions vs. Packers from some of our favorite sports betting apps.
Lions vs. Packers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props
Sam LaPorta
The Lions have seemingly found themselves a top-tier tight end in rookie Sam LaPorta. Through his first three games, LaPorta has 18 receptions on 22 targets for 186 yards, and he scored his first career touchdown last week on a 45-yard reception.
He also has had at least five receptions in every game this season, and while LaPorta is going up against a Packers’ defense that is pretty solid against the pass, they have struggled to cover tight ends. Green Bay has allowed the ninth-most targets to tight ends this season.
Detroit is also a pass-heavy team, as they have not run the ball very well this season. With David Montgomery and Taylor Decker expected to play, the Lions should try and run over this Packers’ defense that has had trouble stopping the run.
This means that Detroit should be able to put some drives together, and when they reach the red zone, LaPorta will be a great option. As long as he continues to get a lot of targets from Jared Goff, LaPorta is in an excellent spot to score on any given week.
Jordan Love
The Jordan Love era in Green Bay has gotten off to a fast start. While they are lucky to be 2-1 after the Saints missed a potential game-winning kick last week, the Packers have a chance to take sole possession of first place in the NFC North tonight.
While Love only completes 53.1% of his passes, he has seven passing touchdowns to only one interception. However, we are more interested in Love scoring with his legs tonight. Through three games, it is clear he has the green light to make plays, as he has 14 rushes for 74 yards and a touchdown.
The Lions’ defense was a disaster last season, especially defending against quarterback runs. They allowed 700 yards rushing to opposing quarterbacks, which was by far the most in the league. While they are a much-improved unit, they still rank in the bottom 10 in opposing QB rushing yards.
This should be a great game, but if you think the Lions will end up the winner as we do, that means the Packers will be passing the ball more, which gives Love more opportunity to tuck it and run. He is also a big dude, with a 6’4″ frame, so if the Packers are inside the five-yard line, he could sneak his way into the end zone and cash this anytime touchdown scorer prop.
Thursday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorer Parlay Odds
If you are following our Thursday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer picks, you can parlay them for a much bigger payout. The odds for each touchdown prop will differ depending on the sportsbook you use. However, with two plus-money player props, you should get a good number to bet on no matter what.
At FanDuel, you can parlay LaPorta (+250) and Love (+500) to score a touchdown tonight, and you will be given +1950 odds. This means that a $100 bettor would be up $1,950 if both players score a touchdown.
