This is certainly a football game; I just don’t know if it will be a good one. As of Thursday morning, the Steelers are playing as point favorites, with the total sitting at a historic points, making it the lowest point total since 1993. While the oddsmakers believe this will be a low-scoring affair, there are still some valuable touchdown scorer props for each side.

If you need help finding a bet tonight, we advise you to take a look at our best TNF anytime touchdown scorer picks.

Patriots vs. Steelers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props

Ezekiel Elliott

The Patriots will be without Rhamondre Stevenson as he is dealing with an ankle injury. That means Ezekiel Elliott will get the majority of carries tonight, especially with Bailey Zappe at quarterback.

New England does not do much right on offense, so scoring against this Steelers’ defense may be challenging. The Steelers rank in the league’s bottom half in yards per play, yards per rush, and yards per pass. However, they also rank sixth in scoring (19.1) and red zone touchdown conversion rate.

It is pretty clear that Elliott is nearing the end of his football career. This is the second straight season he is averaging less than four yards per carry, and the explosiveness that he had early in his career with the Cowboys is gone, and very rarely does he show what he used to be able to do.

Luckily, Bill Belichick has given him plenty of opportunities with the Patriots. Despite sitting behind Stevenson all year, Elliott has 112 rushes, and his 31 targets and 24 receptions are the most he has had since 2021.

The Steelers’ defense is pretty solid up front. While this is concerning for a Patriots offensive line that has been terrible all year, it may help our Elliott touchdown scorer prop. Zappe is an inexperienced quarterback who will be forced to make quick decisions in the passing game.

This should give Elliott even more touches throughout this game. On the season, Pittsburgh has allowed 41 catches for 320 yards and two touchdowns to opposing running backs. Combine that with the number of carries Elliott will get, and he should be in an excellent spot to cash an anytime TD scorer prop.

Pat Freiermuth

Like the Patriots, Pittsburgh will play with a different quarterback in this matchup. Last week, Kenny Pickett was knocked out of the game with an ankle injury, meaning former No. 2 overall pick Mitch Trubisky will get the start.

For his career, Trubisky has struggled at throwing the ball downfield with go and seam routes, which is where top receivers George Pickens and Diontae Johnson thrive. Pittsburgh does not throw the ball often, which is not shocking, considering how bad the QB play has been.

However, the Patriots have done a nice job stopping the run, ranking first in yards per rush (3.2) and third in rushing yards per game (88.7). Typically, rushing yards per game does not paint a complete picture of how good or bad a team is at stopping the run. But the fact that New England is 2-10, meaning opposing teams were in ‘bleed clock’ situations for most of the season against New England, is impressive.

The Patriots are ranked 16th in yards per pass, and although they have done a nice job at limiting tight-end productions this season, the Steelers have gotten Pat Freiermuth more involved since parting ways with Matt Canada.

In two games since Canada’s dismissal, Freiermuth has 16 targets and has caught 12 for 149 yards. He has been looking for his first touchdown since Week 3. With Trubisky at quarterback, expect Freiermuth to have another busy night. If Pittsburgh can move the ball, Freiermuth should be the main target in the red zone.

Thursday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorer Parlay Odds

If you are following our Patriots vs. Steelers Thursday Night Football anytime TD scorer picks, you can parlay them for a much bigger payout. The odds for each touchdown prop will depend on the sportsbook you use. However, with two plus-money player props, you should get an excellent number to bet on, no matter what.

At FanDuel, you can parlay Elliott (+220) and Freiermuth (+400) to score a touchdown tonight, and you will be given +1200 odds. This means that a $100 bettor would be up $1,200 if both players score a touchdown.
