Monday Night Football Touchdown Scorer Odds
Here, we have included the anytime touchdown scorer betting odds for Saints-Panthers and Browns-Steelers from some of our favorite sports betting apps.
Saints vs. Panthers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop
Michael Thomas
It was a solid first game of the season for Michael Thomas, as he caught five passes on eight targets for 61 yards. However, three of those targets came in the endzone, and outside the last couple of seasons, Thomas has always been a top red zone threat.
Thomas’ days of being a top-ranked wide receiver in the NFL are likely behind him, but that does not mean he is no longer a solid contributor for the Saints. We are not too far removed from his last full season of play, which resulted in 149 receptions for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns on 185 targets.
No matter what, Thomas will get his targets, especially as New Orleans creeps toward the endzone. Getting eight targets in the Week 1 victory over the Saints shows just that. New Orleans will also pass the ball more at the start of games as they deal with a shaky running back room.
It also helps that Thomas and the Saints upgraded at quarterback by bringing in Derek Carr, and the Panthers will be without top corner Jaycee Horn tonight. As long as Thomas continues to get his targets, he should be in a great position to score.
Browns vs. Steelers Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop
Nick Chubb
There is probably no better offensive player in this game than Nick Chubb. In the Week 1 win over the Bengals, Chubb rushed for 106 yards on 18 carries and had four receptions. He did not reach the endzone in Week 1, but based on his workload, especially this season, he will have plenty of chances to score a touchdown in this game.
While the Browns have opened up the playbook to cater to Deshaun Watson‘s strengths, Chubb will still get his touches, especially since he is the feature back of this team, with Kareem Hunt no longer splitting reps.
Not only does the absence of Hunt create more carries for Chubb, but it will also get him more involved in the passing game. For his career, Chubb has four receiving touchdowns and 162 targets. Although the Browns’ offensive line took a significant hit with the loss of Jack Conklin for the season, they still had a great performance against the Bengals, and they are getting some relief as Cameron Heyward will be out with a groin injury.
The Steelers’ front seven will still cause problems, but Cleveland has a good offensive line, and while Amari Cooper is out, they still have plenty of weapons to move the ball down the field and eventually rely on Chubb to score a touchdown.
Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Parlay Odds
If you are following our Monday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer picks, you can parlay them for a much bigger payout. The odds for each touchdown prop will differ depending on the sportsbook you use. However, with two plus-money player props, you should get a good number to bet on no matter what.
At FanDuel, you can parlay Chubb (+115) and Thomas (+250) to score a touchdown tonight, and you will be given +652 odds. This means that a $100 bettor would be up $652 if both players score a touchdown.
