The Eagles still own one of the NFL’s best records, but they have lost two straight and are dealing with a sick quarterback, who is questionable for this game. Meanwhile, the Seahawks may also be looking at a backup quarterback, as Geno Smith is also listed as questionable with a groin injury.
No matter who plays, this should be a fun way to close out an exciting week of football. According to the oddsmakers, the Eagles will play as a point favorite with the total sitting at .

Seahawks vs. Eagles Anytime TD Scorer Odds
Here, we have included the best available anytime touchdown scorer betting odds for Seahawks vs. Eagles from some of our favorite sports betting apps.
Even though it looks like a long shot for Smith to play, the Seahawks should still be able to move the ball through the air. Last week, Drew Lock got his first start in two years and put up a solid stat line, completing 71% of his passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns.
That performance was much more impressive when you factor in that Seattle was playing San Francisco. This week, Lock has a bit of an easier matchup against a weak Philadelphia secondary, which should put a rising star in Jaxon Smith-Njigba in an excellent spot to cash an anytime TD scorer prop.
Smith-Njigba was Lock’s most targeted player last week, and he has become much more involved as the season has progressed. Over the previous five games, Smith-Njigba has 20 receptions for 221 yards on 32 targets.
He does not have a touchdown during that period and only has two on the season. However, it is clear that he is getting more opportunities, and the Eagles have struggled to defend slot receivers. They rank 29th in touchdowns allowed out of the slot and dead last in touchdowns allowed to all wide receivers.
The Eagles are the better team in this matchup, so they should be able to go punch-for-punch against a mediocre Seattle defense. This will allow the Seahawks to keep throwing the ball, which obviously will increase our chances for Smith-Njigba to score.
It also helps that Darius Slay is out for the Eagles. He would be lined up against a red-hot DK Metcalf, meaning Philadelphia will have to get creative to slow down a guy with five touchdowns in his last four games. This should free up Smith-Njigba to have another big night and score his first touchdown since Oct. 29 against the Browns.
Jalen Hurts will either not be available or will be playing below 100%, which means D’Andre Swift should have a busy night. He already was the Eagles leading rusher, and against this Seattle defense, he should get even more work.
The Seahawks’ defense is much more vulnerable against the pass, especially with Devon Witherspoon and Jamal Adams listed as questionable. However, Seattle’s defense ranks 23rd in yards per rush (4.4), and they allow 1.3 rushing touchdowns per game, which ranks 29th.
While not having Hurts will hurt the overall effectiveness of the Eagles’ offense, Seattle does not get much of a push-up front, and Philadelphia has the best offensive line in football. Although Swift has had back-to-back subpar outings, he only had 17 carries combined in those games due to the Eagles trailing most of the game.
From Weeks 2-11, Swift averaged 16 carries per game and had 3.7 targets; another area in the Eagles can have some success tonight. Seattle’s defense has allowed 73 receptions for 541 yards and two touchdowns to opposing running backs.
If we are under the assumption that Marcus Mariota will start for Philadelphia, I would imagine there will not be a lot of deep shots in the passing game. Instead, we should see more quick passes and option plays, which favors Swift’s touchdown scorer odds.
It also helps that Seattle’s defense ranks 30th in third down stops and 26th in red zone touchdown conversion rate.
