After hitting the Feast Buffet at the Fiesta Henderson last week my friend and I went downstairs to play. He found a multi keno machine and sat down.
After about five minutes of keno of any kind I get bored so I decided to wander around hoping to find something a little more stimulating. I happened across an Aristrocrat game called Golden Goose that I hadn’t seen in while and decided to give it whirl.
This game has been around for a while and although it doesn’t sport the exciting graphics of some of the newer games it’s still fun to play.
Golden Goose is based on the children’s fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk.”
The symbols are a castle floating on a cloud, a golden harp (the first thing Jack stole from the giant), golden eggs, and the golden goose wild symbol (which honks every time it appears in a winning combination.)
This game has 20 lines with a 10x max bet and has numerical symbols starting as low as 7, which pay when just two symbols appear.
It takes three scattered Golden Eggs to get the bonus of 15 free spins.
I started with $18.26 and played 2x per line (40¢). After several spins I got the three Golden Eggs and my 15 free spins began. I had several nice hits and re-triggered for an additional 15 spins. After a couple more spins I got three golden eggs again.
After a total of 45 free spins I won $26.96. My fairy tale had a happy ending when I cashed out with $43.37
