About Mariah Janos
Mariah is a graduate of Syracuse University where she studied Writing and Rhetoric, Public Communications, and Sport Management. Upon graduating in May of 2017, Mariah has been working in the broadcasting industry as an on-air sports reporter. Her career began as a weekend sports anchor for a local FOX affiliate in Duluth, MN, covering local high school and collegiate sports including two NCAA Men’s Hockey National Championships for the University of Minnesota-Duluth. While in Minnesota, Mariah took on a new role as Sports Director for The FAN radio station, serving as the station insider for the Minnesota Vikings.
Since then, Mariah’s career brought her back to Boston, where she was born and raised, to work for Lax Sports Network as an in-studio host. She also worked as a reporter for CLNS Media covering the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics. In her time with CLNS, Mariah began hosting betting videos for sportsbook sponsor BetOnline. She then contributed to FantasyPros, creating “Betting 101”-style videos introducing beginners to the betting space. Mariah’s betting role further evolved when she became the NFL Betting Host for social media company Playmaker.
Currently, Mariah resides in South Florida, working as a sideline reporter and in-studio host. Despite being far from home, she still stays up-to-date and locked-in on all Boston sports teams as they are her number one love in life, aside from her dog named Goose.
