Rebecca Hanchett is a legislative researcher and journalist. She provided in-depth coverage of state budget and judicial issues for 23 years as an assistant PIO at the Kentucky State Capitol. Her early career was spent honing her love of politics by covering the 1992 US Presidential election and several statewide races as a Central Kentucky news reporter.
A native Kentuckian, Rebecca currently publishes www.theun-Tucked.com, a travel blog focused on her home state. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kentucky and is a lifelong UK basketball fan.
