Pimlico
Race 10
The Black-Eyed Susan Stakes for three-year-old fillies. We are taking a stab with top choice No. 7 Mizzen Beau. Trainer Norm Casse is the son of accomplished trainer Mark Casse who’s no stranger to the big stage. This horse ran amazing on September 12th at Woodbine and moving back to dirt from synthetic should be no problem. No. 5 Bonny South will be the overwhelming favorite. She’s a closer so there will definitely need to be a pace set-up for her to win. No. 8 Hopeful Growth hopelessly chased the pace in the Kentucky Oaks. She should fare better today given her two sharp workouts.
